Welcome to Adult Christian Education at Church of the Ascension

 We believe that learning and growing in faith is a lifelong journey. Our programs are designed to deepen your understanding of scripture, enrich your spiritual life, and equip you to live out your faith in the world. Join our weekly Bible study groups for in-depth exploration of God's Word, engage in theological discussions led by knowledgeable clergy and guest speakers, and participate in spiritual formation workshops that focus on prayer, meditation, and other disciplines. Our book clubs offer an opportunity to read and discuss contemporary and classic Christian literature, fostering community and exploring faith's intersection with life and culture. Additionally, we offer seasonal classes and retreats throughout the liturgical year, including Advent and Lenten studies. All programs are open to everyone, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey.
